Ps3 Widescreen Black Bars Widescreen DVDs On PS3 No Longer Have Black Bars?

Widescreen DVDs On PS3 no longer have black bars? - ps3 widescreen black bars

I know that many people prefer it, no black bars on the big screen as a PS3 have ... But I wonder, I have many DVDs in widescreen format (not Blu-ray) on my PS3 and black bars (in the upper and lower) that have arisen in the past (in DVD players) are no longer there. .. I thought there was only one reason for this or is it a way to activate again?

  1. If you should change the screen HDTV in 4:3 black bars again. Widescreen movies are in 16:9 format, which is usually the aspect ratio of most HDTV shows, so that it fills the whole screen. When you watch a movie in full screen mode on a 4:3 (an HDTV standard or not), if one black bars, because the image is not the right size for television, that you are trying to inch display (which is why they a DVD version with widescreen and full screen) for sale.

The same happens when you get a movie or TV show, not to put the HD on an HDTV, you black bars on the side instead of on top. Also, because the size of the image is not compatible with the size of the screen.

Check the settings on your TV screen.
